Privacy Policy for AI Cleaner: CleanUp Storage
Effective Date: Jun 22, 2026

1. Introduction
Welcome to AI Cleaner: CleanUp Storage ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we access, collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is handled securely. Because our application functions primarily as an offline utility, the vast majority of your personal data is processed strictly locally on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

2. Information We Access and How We Use It
To provide our core storage optimization and cleaning functionalities, we require access to specific device permissions. We limit our access to data that is strictly necessary for the app's primary features, adhering to data minimization principles.

Media and Files (Photos, Videos, Storage)

Permissions: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED.

Purpose: To scan your gallery locally to identify duplicate, similar, and blurry photos, and to compress large files. The "Secret Space" feature utilizes secure local storage to encrypt and hide your personal files on your device. We do not transmit your media files to external servers.

Contacts Data

Permissions: READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS.

Purpose: To scan your address book to identify and merge duplicate, incomplete, or ghost contacts. This analysis is performed locally on your device. We limit broad access to only what is necessary for this core app functionality. We do not engage in unauthorized publishing or disclosure of people's non-public contacts.

Calendar Data

Permissions: READ_CALENDAR, WRITE_CALENDAR.

Purpose: To identify and allow you to remove outdated or redundant calendar events to free up space. This is processed locally.

Email & Google Account Data (Clean Your Inbox Feature)

Our app allows you to connect your Google account using Google Sign-In to help organize your Gmail inbox.

When you grant permission, we access Gmail message metadata and email content only to provide the inbox cleanup features available within the app, including:

*Identifying promotional, social, and unwanted emails.
*Grouping emails by sender.
*Helping you delete selected emails.
*Helping you unsubscribe from supported mailing lists.
*Creating Gmail filters when requested by you to automatically manage future emails from selected senders.

We only access the Gmail data necessary to provide these features. You remain in control of all actions, and no emails are deleted, archived, or modified without your explicit action or authorization.

User Control:
You can disconnect your Google account at any time by signing out from the Settings section of the app. Once your Google account is disconnected, the app will no longer access your Gmail data.

3. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
Our app utilizes Google APIs to provide the "Clean Your Inbox Effortlessly" feature. We are strictly committed to the following regarding your Google user data:

Adherence to Limited Use Requirements: To the extent the app uses and/or transfers information received from Google APIs to any other app, such use and transfer will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/workspace/workspace-api-user-data-developer-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Use Limitations: Your Google user data is only used to provide the email cleanup functionality. We prohibit using user data for advertising purposes.

No Human Access: We do not allow humans to read user data unless explicitly permitted by you for specific security purposes or legal compliance.

No AI Training: We strictly do not use your personal data or Google API data for training artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
While your personal files are processed locally, we integrate approved third-party SDKs that may collect data by default to support app functionality and monetization. You must ensure that SDK providers do not sell personal and sensitive user data from your app.

Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Messaging): We use Firebase to understand user interactions, monitor app stability, and send notifications. Firebase may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and crash logs. You can review the Google Privacy Policy here (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Google AdMob: We display advertisements using AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.

Billing / In-App Purchases: If you purchase premium features, transactions are handled securely by the respective app stores. We do not collect or store your financial or payment information. We must never publicly disclose any personal and sensitive user data related to financial or payment activities.

5. Data Security and Retention

Local Processing: We do not store your photos, contacts, calendar events, or Gmail data on our servers. Data accessed via Google APIs is accessed in real-time solely for the purpose of facilitating the email cleanup integration. We handle all user data securely and demonstrate adherence to industry-standard security practices.

User Control: You can revoke the app's access to your data at any time through your device's application settings or your Google account settings. We honor user requests to delete their data.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application is not directed towards individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
